We have already gone over which NBA City Edition jerseys are the best for this season. Now, it is time to go over which ones are the worse. Some of these jerseys simply miss the mark in terms of appealing to the eye or they are just boring. Others just flat out look terrible. Hopefully, your team did not make this list. Without further adieu, let’s take a look at the top five worst NBA City Edition jerseys for the 2019-20 NBA season.

Number 5: Chicago Bulls

I get trying to go in a new direction. However, seeing any Bulls jersey without the signature red and black pattern is going to raise eyebrows. The powder blue mixed with red just does not go well together. However, these jerseys could be a lot worse, but they still leave a lot to be desired as well.

Number 4: Minnesota Timberwolves

Gracing this list again is another team that tried the powder blue route this season. The one saving grace these jerseys have is the fact that they pay homage to famous state lakes. For those who do not know, the letters “MSP,” stand for the Minneapolis-Saint Paul area. The idea is great in theory, but the font and color combination could have been better.

Number 3: Milwaukee Bucks

It would seem the Milwaukee Bucks severely overestimated the maturity of the NBA fan base. We can go on and on about the nickname of Cream City, which is supposedly the nickname of Milwaukee. However, the cream color on the jersey is not appealing either. The Bucks may be contenders this year, but these jerseys certainly have nothing to do with that fact.

Number 2: Boston Celtics

It looks like the Celtics tried to go with a 1700’s font this year. That is how bad these look. Not only did they mess up the font, but they also found a way to completely ruin gold mixed with green. The Celtics have possibly the most iconic jerseys in the league when it comes to their green and white jerseys, but these city jerseys are certainly the worst in their storied franchise history.

Number 1: Dallas Mavericks

It should come as no surprise the Dallas Mavericks City Edition jerseys win the title of worst city edition jerseys of the 2019-20 season. What were the Mavericks even thinking? Not only does this style not even fit with the city of Dallas, but the design is also horrid. I mean, it is surprising Luka Doncic has not requested a trade yet for having to wear these monstrosities once in a while. I kid, of course, but the Mavericks have nowhere for next year’s City Edition jerseys to go but up after these disasters this season. Please, Dallas, all of us fans are begging you guys to not bring these back next season.
